Peter Pan is one of the most well-known and loved characters in the Disney world. The child that never grew and could fly, is the symbol of our childhood. Throughout history there have been a lots of films about this emblematic character, which we all know about in cartoons that premiered in 1953, a curiosity of this movie is that Captain Hook is missing his left han d, when he should really miss the right, this decision was taken because it was thought that this way the action would be less limited. Of this film precisely a sequel was taken in 2002 called, Peter Pan: Back to Neverland , although this time who makes the trip is the daughter of Wendy who has been kidnapped by Captain Hook .                                                                                   ...

Barrie, the father of Peter Pan

Once upon a time, there was a man who was all the time thinking in being a child for ever, as he couldn't do It, he created someone who will did it for him, Peter Pan.  The name of the creator of Peter Pan was James Matthew Barrie, a writer that was born in Kirriemuir, Scotland in 1860, he was the nineth of his brothers. Barrie likes to act in theater plays, for that reason, the first story of Peter Pan was a play.  Barrie used to walk around Kensington Gardens, near his residence. There he met the children of the Llewelyn Davies family, named George, Jack, Peter, Michael and Nico. The writer felt enormously attached to these children; In fact, when Sylvia, the mother of the children, became widowed, Barrie was in charge of taking custody of them. Peter Pan, written in 1905, was inspired by these children who both delighted and fascinated him.
