Neverland

NEVERLAND

Neverland is a fictional place created by J. M. Barrie and his stories. It is an imaginary faraway place, where Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys and other mythical creatures live.

Neverlands are found in the minds of children, and each is "always more or less an island”. They are never the same from one child to the next.

Peter tells Wendy the way to Neverland is "second to the right, and straight on till morning" but it is clear that "he just said anything that came into his head".
Walt Disney's 1953 Peter Pan presents the possibility it is located in space, adding a "star" to Peter's directions: "second star to the right, and straight on till morning”.

Most of the adventures in the stories take place in the Neverwood, a kind of forest or jungle, where the Lost Boys hunt and fight the pirates and redskins.

Peter and the Lost Boys live in the Home Under The Ground, which is under a tree trunk. The Home Under the Ground also has Tinker Bell's “house”.

The mermaids live in the Mermaids' Lagoon, which is also the location of Marooners' Rock, the most dangerous place in Neverland.

Never Land Plains is the location where the Indians reside

Skull Rock is where the pirates hide their booty.

Other places such as the Crocodile Creek, where the crocodile lives.

Neverpeak Mountain is the huge mountain that is in the middle of Neverland.

Pixie Hollow is where Tinker Bell and her tiny fairy friends live in Disney's Tinker Bell movies.
